Hearts of Remembrance has been a beloved tradition and a vital fundraiser for Arbor Hospice for more than 30 years, raising over $20,000 annually to support our mission of compassionate care. This meaningful initiative helps fund essential services—including pediatric hospice, grief support, integrative therapies, specialized veteran care, and more—ensuring that no one in our community faces the end of life alone.
The “Hearts” program was born from the generosity of volunteers whose lives were touched by our care. Their compassion continues to shine through this legacy, offering a meaningful way to give back and ensure that patients and families feel supported, remembered, and loved.
Each year, a new Heart of Remembrance is thoughtfully designed, making these keepsakes cherished collectibles. Families have shared touching stories of how they display their hearts on holiday trees, windowsills, car mirrors, and refrigerators—each placement a personal tribute to someone deeply missed. These hearts are more than ornaments; they are enduring symbols of love and remembrance.
In addition to this year’s Heart of Remembrance, we are proud to offer a special Veterans Heart to recognize and honor those who bravely served our country. It’s a meaningful way to pay tribute to their sacrifice while supporting hospice care tailored to veterans’ unique needs.
We invite you to be part of this beautiful tradition. Your gift helps preserve cherished memories and ensures that exceptional care remains at the heart of everything we do.
A recommended minimum $25 donation for each heart requested.
