The Nancy L. Philippart and Thomas F. McGrail Family Fund in memory of Cheryl A. McWilliams
The Nancy L. Philippart and Thomas F. McGrail Family Fund in memory of Cheryl A. McWilliams ensures that anyone coping with the loss of a loved one has access to the bereavement support they need to help them manage the complexities of their grief – both during the hospice experience and following the death of a loved one.
This fund provides critical financial support that allows Arbor Hospice’s Grief Journey Program to offer extensive bereavement services and programming across Michigan, all delivered by Masters-prepared clinicians who are specially trained to work with grief-related issues.
From one-on-one counseling to loss-specific groups, seminars and workshops, Arbor Hospice’s Grief Journey program provides unparalleled support and resources to help families through the grief process.
In addition, this fund supports Camp Good Grief, a program designed for children ages 8-17 who have experienced the death of a loved one. Each of the three, day-long Camp Good Grief experiences offered annually across the state combine art, music and conversation with grief education and emotional support.
