of care is one of the cornerstones of our mission - a mission that could
not be accomplished without the many 'helping hands' of our volunteers.
Arbor Hospice has a dedicated volunteer force of over
300 caring individuals and we offer opportunities in just about every
area you can imagine. Whether you can give four hours a month or four
hours a day, we can use your help! Training Dates Volunteers are an invaluable part of the Arbor Hospice team. For patients living at home or in nursing care facilities, volunteers play a key role in supporting caregiver and patient needs. They provide companionship to patients and/or allow caregivers a brief respite. The Residence of Arbor Hospice, a hospice facility, provides patients with a tranquil home-like setting and offers volunteers a wide range of opportunities to help. Volunteers also provide Arbor Hospice, a nonprofit agency, administrative support by helping with special events, fundraising, mailings, filing, and general office needs.
