Workshops
Throughout the year, Arbor Hospice offers workshops and remembrance programs for children, adults, and families - helping to process ongoing feelings of loss, and address emerging needs as well.

Please check the support group schedule for specific dates and times of upcoming programs.

Upcoming workshops:

Lunch Bunch

The death of a spouse can bring on changes in one’s social network as well as a sense of being alone during mealtimes. But it also can bring new opportunities for meeting new people. Are you nterested in meeting some new friends and sharing a meal with other widow or widowers? The Lunch Bunch is a social group that meets at a convenient time and place to enjoy the company of one another for a noon meal.

Please contact Arbor Hospice Grief Support at 734.794.5375
and you will be notified of upcoming gatherings.

Memory Books For Adults, Children, and Families
2nd Saturday of each month
1-3pm.

Do you have photos of your loved one and aren’t sure what to do with them? Do you need help organizing them in a fun and creative way? Bring your photos in to Arbor Hospice and make a memory book! We will provide all of the materials for you to create beautiful and meaningful pages; all you need to bring are your photos. This program is open to adults and children and no previous experience is necessary. This program is funded by Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor.

For more information or to RSVP, please contact Grief Support at (734) 794-5460 or email mschultz@arborhospice.org

This workshop will have useful information on regular home maintenance tasks, tips and tricks to do-it-yourself, and advice on how to find a reputable repair person.
