Grief is a challenging journey that continues long after the death of a significant person. It is a journey made easier with compassion and support along the way. If you are coping with the death of someone close, Arbor Hospice can be your pathway to comfort and hope. For family members and friends of those who have used Arbor Hospice services, our grief services are provided for at least 13 months following the death. We offer support groups, individual visits, phone calls or email, quarterly mailings, memorial gatherings, and special workshops. All of these services will be explained to you so that you may determine what would best support you in your grief. For individuals and families who have not utilized the services of Arbor Hospice, the support groups and special programs are also available to you. For more than 25 years, Arbor Hospice has helped families face the challenges of a terminal illness, prepare for life changes, and understand the complex feelings of grief. Through the programs of Arbor Hospice's Grief Support Services, we offer a safe environment where those who have experienced a death can find comfort, support, and hope. How can we help? Arbor Hospice's Grief Support Services offers a choice of programs tailored to adults, children, and adolescents who have experienced a death-regardless of when or how that loss occurred. In order to continue to provide the wide range of services that are available at no cost, we do ask for donations to support our programs. Our programs are held in the Ann Arbor, Downriver, and Western Wayne areas.
