Since its establishment in 1984, Arbor Hospice has grown to meet the hospice and grief support needs of thousands of individuals throughout southeastern Michigan, thanks to the continued support from friends like you. The Arbor Hospice Foundation was established in 2003 to help advance the agency's already strong operating position and to ensure its permanent and sound financial future. The Foundation's goal is to meet the growing needs of the regions served by Arbor Hospice without compromising the success of its daily operations. • The strengthening and outreach of all aspects of hospice care and grief services across the entire Arbor Hospice service area.
  
• The recognition of current caregiving staff with market competitive salaries and recruit promising young professionals committed to careers in hospice care and education.
  
• Enhanced community-based education programs to include greater numbers of school counselors, clergy and referring physicians regarding end-of-life issues.
